This is the story of my first 100-mile race — a visceral, arduous, and transformative adventure through the autumn-drenched Bear River Mountains in Utah. Bear 100 was a dream come true!

A reflection on burnout, sensitivity, and my decision to choose a gentler rhythm in a world that constantly urges me to push harder. This one is for the highly sensitive, high achievers — those deeply attuned to their inner world, profoundly affected by their environment, and whose nervous systems were never meant for the relentless grind, yet who still push themselves to keep up.
